Topics to be discussed during the seminar:
On load tap changers- vacuum type– speech by Mr. Goran Svensson – ABB Components Sweden;
  • Technical potential of S.C. RETRASIB S.A. regarding the high power transformers manufacturing process – vapor phase drying system;
  • On load tap changer- vacuum type assembled on the 25 MVA 110/20 kV transformer, beneficiary CEZ Romania.
 
This seminar continues the presentations series organized by S.C. RETRASIB S.A. with renown suppliers of materials and components for transformers and also of manufacturing technologies for high power transformers’ windings.
The meetings organized by S.C. RETRASIB S.A. during 2009 and 2010 presented the latest studies in the electrical area belonging to the following companies: Weidmann Austria, ASTA Austria, LAE Italy, Felber Austria, Trafo Proiect Romania, Scando Trading Romania.
  • 2009 – S.C. RETRASIB S.A. Sibiu manufactures the windings for high power transformers with voltages of 220 kV and 400 kV.
  • 2010 – The evolution of materials and technologies employed by S.C. RETRASIB S.A. in manufacturing high power (200-400MVA) and high voltage (220-400KV) transformers.
Starting from 2010, due to major investments in endowments, technologies and staff training, S.C. RETRASIB S.A. becomes leader on the local market of high power transformers, with a market share of about 70%.
The seminar is meant to continue the events commenced in 2008, one of the declared company’s targets being to become a focus point for the electrical industry.
